Leave both time fields empty and the event lasts the whole day. It stays listed as upcoming until that day is over.

An opening, a drink, anything nobody commits an end to. The card shows the start on its own, without a dash trailing off into nothing.

An end before its start — it finishes the next day

Eight in the evening until half past two. The model reads an end at or before the start as running past midnight.
